Partnering with Polyglot Theatre and Minderoo Foundation to test the Voice of the Child toolkit

03/06/2025

The Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) has partnered with Polyglot Theatre and Minderoo Foundation to test the Voice of the Child toolkit in Early Education settings across Australia.

Minderoo Foundation will provide $932,000 over three years to help the Centre for Community Child Health test the Voice of the Child toolkit in five Early Childhood Education and Care settings across Australia. This work will include creative activities facilitated by Polyglot Theatre for children to express their experiences in a way that feels natural, meaningful and engaging.

This investment will support CCCH to refine the design and content of the toolkit and its capacity building materials. This will empower communities to use it as part of their efforts to ensure that services and programs adequately respond to the needs of young children.

The partnership contributes to our shared vision to see all children in Australia reach their full potential in thriving communities. The overarching objective of this work is to help children’s voices shape decisions that impact them, to create more inclusive, effective and meaningful research, care, and services. This collaboration specifically focuses on the outcome that decision makers will draw on evidence and insight from children to inform change and provide more responsive and culturally relevant early childhood services and support.
