Establishing the Centre Impact Accelerator
29/05/2026
The Centre has welcomed a $3 million grant from The Ian Potter Foundation to bridge the research-to-impact gap to support children and families across Australia. This grant will help establish a new Impact Accelerator to scale innovation and strengthen financial sustainability for long-term change.
The Centre’s purpose is simple: to see every child thrive. We generate and translate evidence that tackles the unfair and preventable inequities shaping children’s outcomes. As childhood lays the foundations for lifelong health, development and wellbeing, by investing early, we can deliver benefits that last into adulthood.

‘This investment moves us beyond short-term projects and means we can focus on what really matters – achieving equitable, real-life improvements in children’s health, development and wellbeing within a generation.’
– Centre Director Professor Sharon Goldfeld
